The two-and-a-half-hour, multiple-choice exam consists of 125 items designed to measure your knowledge of orthotic fitting. Knowledge assessed on the exam includes basic anatomy, prefabricated orthotic devices, fitting criteria of such devices, ethics, and professionalism.
The exam is given using computer-based testing (CBT) and is offered every other month at over 600 test center locations nationwide or online with a live remote proctor. Check out the test center locations in your area.
