POP Month is HERE!

Let’s celebrate this wonderful profession together.

This month, we invite you and the entire prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic (POP) community to join us in expanding the reach of the WhatIsPOP career awareness campaign and highlighting the wonderful people that make POP POP !

This effort wouldn’t happen without the support of the many partner organizations, Ambassadors and individuals like YOU who are helping highlight the profession we love.

What are you doing for POP Month?

There’s still time to get involved and join in the celebration! We’d love to hear what you or your organization are planning. If you still need ideas or support putting something together, whether big or small, be sure to check out our POP Month Toolkit or contact our POP Month team.

What are others doing for POP Month?

Nationwide, organizations and individuals have committed to diverse activities throughout the month. Here are just a few:

  • Social posts highlighting a practice or special employee(s)
  • Celebratory POP Month lunch for staff
  • Golf tournament to fund POP scholarships
  • Science festival educational exhibit
  • Adaptive sports event for children with physical disabilities
  • Prosthetic disassembly day exposing biomedical engineering undergraduates to the possibilities of POP

From coast to coast, the POP community will generate social media posts filled with stories celebrating POP. You’ll likely see some ads showcasing the nation’s POP professionals, and there will be a “POP Talks” series of online discussions sponsored by ABC, offering CE credits. Learn more or register here.

We hope you will celebrate—and feel celebrated—during POP Month and beyond.

More information about POP Month, including a library of tools and resources to make celebrating easy are available at POPMonth.org.
