By staying on top of your credits, you'll ensure you have plenty of time to complete them and avoid any last-minute stress. Earning credits is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and stay updated on the latest industry trends. Remember, continuing education is a valuable and necessary part of maintaining your certification.
Not sure how many credits you have or still need?
Find out in your MY ABC account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to see how many credits you still need to earn to meet your CE requirements before the end of your five-year CE cycle.
Have you met your Category I Science credit requirement?
All credits may be earned in Category I Science but at least 50% must be. Simply locate how many you currently have towards this requirement by looking at the total number of credits under the Cat I (S) column of your CE Statement.
Need help finding CEUs? Visit our Find CEUs search page any time and select your credential type to find preapproved Category I credits. Don’t forget that you can also earn Category II (not preapproved) credits for activities like teaching or presenting, taking college courses or allied health and medical seminars, attending hospital teaching clinics, participating in humanitarian work and providing resident supervision. You can report any of these activities for credit by logging in to your MY ABC account and clicking the Report My Category II Credits link.
Please contact our Continuing Education team at CE@abcop.org if you have any questions.
