If your five-year continuing education cycle ends on December 31, 2023, it’s time to make sure you have fulfilled all your credit requirements.
Not meeting your CE requirements before the deadline will not only result in suspension of your credential but also require you to earn any deficient credits plus penalty credits and pay a reinstatement fee within the following calendar year.
Need help earning CEUs?
Visit our online course search tool any
time and select your credential type to find preapproved
Category I credits. You can also
report activities and courses
that have not been preapproved by ABC for Category II
credits. Some examples include
teaching or presenting, taking
college courses or allied health
and medical seminars, attending
hospital teaching clinics, participating in humanitarian work and
providing resident supervision.
Be sure to review our Guide to Maintaining Your Certification and contact us if you have any questions.
