The CPM Exams were the third and final practitioner certification exams to be updated to reflect the findings in last year’s Practice Analysis of Certified Practitioners. The final step in updating any exam is to set a new passing score, and a dedicated group of volunteer practitioners did just that at a standard setting meeting in Tampa this past May. For half the group, this was their first experience in participating in an exam update activity. The other half of the group participated in one—or both!— of the prior practitioner exam standard setting meetings.
In August 2022, the simulation exam meeting was held, and the combined written multiple-choice exam meeting occurred in February. ABC is grateful to everyone who participated in this important step of our ongoing exam development activities.
