Many attendees stopped by the ABC booth during the three-day event in Indianapolis with well wishes on our milestone anniversary and to learn more about ABC’s current initiatives.

During Wednesday’s Indy Tailgate Party welcome reception, ABC hosted a tabletop hockey competition with prizes for the game’s highest scorers as we competed for the Team Spirit Award. The competition was stiff, but a good time was had by participants as well as cheering onlookers.

Our official anniversary celebration was on Thursday evening during the Exhibitor Happy Hour. Attendees were invited to the ABC booth for champagne and cookies and to make a toast to many more years of service to the profession.

This year, we also featured our WhatIsPOP video in the booth, highlighting ways that those in the profession can support the Career Awareness Initiative through involvement in their communities or as Ambassadors for the program.

Thanks to everyone who took time to celebrate with us and learn more about career awareness. It’s amazing individuals like you that are the reason we are still going strong after 75 years.

Our vision includes ‘Changing Lives’ and while that specifically refers to the individuals helped by ABC credential holders, it also mirrors the lives changed for those that have chosen this rewarding profession and contributed to its future success.
