We are currently seeking nominations for a new Public Member to serve on the ABC Board of Directors. The position is a four-year commitment beginning December 1, 2023.

Our goal is to have a Board of Directors with diverse perspectives that are representative of the profession. Nominees for the open Public Member position represent the interests of consumers, O&P patients, caregivers and other public groups. Candidates should have personal experience related to the O&P profession and, ideally, be a recipient of O&P care. Public Member candidates cannot have ever held an ABC credential, and may not be employed by or have received compensation from any O&P professional or business within the last two years. 

All nominations will be reviewed by the ABC Nominations Committee and the ABC Board of Directors. The deadline for nomination submissions is June 1. To formally submit a nomination, you will need to complete both the nomination and consent forms.
