ABC volunteer leaders and staff joined over 100 OP&P professionals in Washington DC May 10–11 to advocate for the profession and its patients at the 2023 AOPA Policy Forum.

The two-day event focused on support for proposed policy changes to the Medicare O&P Patient-Centered Care Act and the importance of these changes for the profession and patients. Attendees also learned about the different dynamics at play in Congress, where healthcare fits into those dynamics and how O&P fits into the larger healthcare context.
