Clinical Training & Assessment Conference

In late March, ABC and The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) are co-sponsoring a conference to examine the current residency structures and the ABC exams that follow them. The Practitioner Clinical Training and Assessment Conference is a direct result of the work done at last year’s ABC Competency Assessment Summit. The conference will explore ways to streamline the process of entering the profession and will culminate in recommendations that both organizations can consider to potentially change the current new clinician clinical training and competency assessment process.
