ABC has partnered with the Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation (OPERF) to identify and celebrate outstanding research by orthotic and prosthetic students. ABC Student Poster Prizes will be awarded to outstanding student-created posters accepted for presentation at the 2022 American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists’ (the Academy) Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium, March 2-5. All student posters accepted for presentation at the 2022 Academy Meeting, will automatically be considered for the ABC Student Poster Prizes. 

The deadline to submit a poster was December 3rd. Winners will be announced in the Spring. Be sure to look for this exciting announcement and join us in congratulating these outstanding students and their award-winning posters!

Students will be awarded prizes based on the:

• Quality and thoroughness of their work
• Originality and independence of their contributions
• Significance and timeliness of their research results
• Depth of understanding of their research topic
